Trackline was established in early 1992 by Geoff and Joy Watters who owned

Forestwood Interiors in the Melbourne Suburb of Mt Waverley. Forestwood Interiors

had been established to supply window furnishing products to the ever-expanding

housing market and was a flourishing enterprise at the time that the family decided

to relocate to Central Victoria. When Geoff and Joy arrived in Bendigo, they identified

that there was a high need, for a wholesaler to service the needs of the retailers, in

the window furnishing industry. They were encouraged and supported by several

major Melbourne based suppliers and Trackline was established in early 1992.

Trackline was very successful, and with high sales growth it became necessary to

relocate to a larger premises in Kangaroo Flat. Trackline instituted a regime of

regular calls, employing a commercial van to visit at predetermined times throughout

the year. As well as carrying a basic stock range enabling immediate supply to the

customer, making sure all pre orders were delivered free into stores, all across

country Victoria.
